The manager of the former Bennigans restaurant in Topeka has reopened it under a new name.

Boulevard Grill is open for business at 3251 South Topeka Boulevard. Ron Cleaver says he's hired back most of the crew he'd worked with at Bennigans. He says he's also taken some of the favorite items from that menu and given them a new spin.

Cleaver has renovated the building but maintained its casual dining atmosphere.

Bennigans was forced to close in July when its parent company filed for bankruptcy.
